Lindsay's current one-woman show opened May 24 at Karen Derr Realty, 1401 Post Office St, Galveston as part of the city's Art Walk.  Standing above Lindsay on opening night are, from  left, Mitch Cohen, marketing director of Karen Derr Realty; Dagang Chen, music director of The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra and long-time family friend, and Max Harrison, curator of the show and co-owner of M2 Gallery in Houston's Heights. 

Artist and photographer Lindsay Peyton is a native of Houston, has lived on the East Coast, and is a photojournalism graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.  Her works in oil, pastels, charcoal and other media have been featured in  galleries and gathering places in Houston and Galveston.  She is currently exhibiting at H Gallery and M2 Gallery, both on 19th Street  in Houston's Heights, as well as in the Houston City Hall Annex exhibit.  Also, see her works displayed at The Community Artists Collective  "Of Women" show (1413 Holman at LaBranch) through June 28, 08.

Her photography as been shown as part of Houston's 2008 FotoFest.  Freelance photography clients include The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra, Elves & More, Susan Love Fitz Public Relations, among others.
